They will also consider lesser-known firms if the candidate has strong strategy numbers. Candidates do not need to be the sole founder of the strategy if they were genuinely close to it and understand the key moving parts. They are looking for key figures at this stage, not support hires. Later they may look for people who can support established strategy teams, but right now they want people who bring real strategy knowledge and track record.
