Trading Operations Engineer
Hybrid | London | £100,000 – £200,000 + bonus
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Trading Operations Engineer to join their trading team in London.
This is a hybrid role supporting high-volume, live trading environments within a fast-paced, technology-driven business.
The Role:
They are looking for someone who will:
- Monitor live trading activity and portfolio risk
- Support and improve their automated trading operations systems
- Work closely with internal teams on technical projects and upgrades
- Help scale and enhance trading infrastructure
- Investigate and resolve trading, position, or reconciliation discrepancies
- Optimise order entry and market data connectivity
- Troubleshoot issues within complex real-time systems
What They’re Looking For:
- Relevant experience in trading, operations, or a related technical field
- Strong Python scripting skills
- Solid understanding of Linux environments
- Experience with P&L and risk reporting tools
- Knowledge of market structure and trading technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
