We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA/Test Automation Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in software testing, quality assurance, and automation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial services, trading platforms, or exchanges, and proven experience delivering high-quality testing solutions within complex and regulated environments.
You will play a key role in driving testing strategy, enhancing automation coverage, and ensuring the reliability and stability of business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end testing strategy across trading and financial systems
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites
- Perform integration testing across multiple systems, services, and applications
- Ensure high-quality delivery through API, database, performance, and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Implement and promote BDD/TDD best practices
- Identify risks, defects, and gaps in quality processes, proposing improvements
- Support continuous delivery pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases
- Validate systems within regulated trading and financial environments, ensuring compliance and robustness
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, and Test Automation
- Strong experience with trading platforms, financial exchanges, or regulatory systems
- Background in buy-side environments or live trading systems highly desirable
- Solid experience in Java/JavaScript/Spring Boot-based projects
- Expertise in integration testing across distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development)
- Proficiency with testing frameworks such as:
- Cucumber
- JUnit / TestNG
- or equivalent
- Strong experience with automation tools:
- Selenium
- RestAssured
- Postman
- or similar tools
- Deep understanding of:
- API testing
- Database testing
- Performance testing
- End-to-end system validation
- Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
