The Opportunity
The firm is seeking an OTC Trader with 2–8 years of trading experience, ideally within digital assets or derivatives markets. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of options and related financial products, including pricing, greeks, and hedging concepts.
Prior OTC experience is beneficial but not essential. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial risk effectively while working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Execute OTC trades efficiently while adhering to internal risk, pricing, and compliance policies.
- Monitor market activity and identify trading opportunities across digital asset markets.
- Apply knowledge of options and derivatives to pricing and risk management workflows.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding trading activity and strategy execution.
- Maintain accurate trade documentation and operational processes.
- Perform ongoing risk assessments and manage exposure appropriately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver optimal trading solutions.
- Utilise and monitor algorithmic trading and hedging systems to support derivatives and client flow activity.
- Contribute to the enhancement and optimisation of trading algorithms and execution processes.
Requirements
- 2–8 years of trading experience, ideally within cryptocurrency or derivatives markets.
- Understanding of options, derivatives, pricing models, greeks, and hedging methodologies.
- Experience trading multiple financial products and working with algorithmic trading systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work consistently and effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable managing financial risk exposure.
- Python and SQL knowledge beneficial but not required.
