Fullstack Engineer | Up to $180,000 | Hybrid SanFran

An extremely exciting client of ours who is an Ai-based startup on the brink of exponential growth is looking to add an exceptional Founding Fullstack Engineer to join their early-stage team. They have already made substantial revenue and have received investment from the top names in the industry. This role requires a talented engineer with expertise in Python, React, AWS, and artificial intelligence, as well as startup experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid in the enhancement of their foundational read-and-write APIs.
• Guarantee the backend application development’s dependability, scalability, and minimal latency.
• Create adaptable and expandable solutions to address customer requirements effectively.
• Cultivate a robust ethos of code and architecture assessment.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Python and React, with familiarity in at least one Python backend framework.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of experience in roles such as backend engineer, with a preference for experience in a pre-Series B startup setting.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in cloud-based distributed systems.
• Proficiency in systems programming, developing backend web applications, and contributing to large-scale, high-performance distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience in building containerized applications and utilizing relevant tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript (and preferably TypeScript), delivering intricate Node.js solutions for production environments on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with AWS, and an understanding of AWS cost management, is a bonus.
• Proficiency in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes) is an added advantage.
• Experience in prototyping and conducting rapid experimentation.
