What You’ll Do
As the senior technical lead for reliability and production engineering, you will:
- Architect and rebuild the organization’s production infrastructure using a platform-style approach
- Drive reliability, performance, and security across distributed systems
- Design modern deployment pipelines with minimal friction and strong security practices
- Lead incident response and ensure system uptime, stability, and resilience
- Partner closely with engineering and security teams to define long-term infrastructure strategy
- Manage and deliver complex projects end to end
- Work allocation: 60% SRE, 20% Security, 20% DevOps/Developer Experience
What You Bring
The ideal candidate has strong technical depth and a builder’s mindset:
- 5+ years in SRE, Production Engineering, or DevOps roles
- Strong software or systems engineering background
- Expert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK/CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience running complex distributed systems (databases, message brokers, observability stacks, networking layers, and more)
- Deep networking knowledge across Layers 1 through 7
- Experience building a greenfield SRE function
- Strong understanding of Linux internals, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and version control
- Proven track record in designing secure, scalable, distributed infrastructure
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience running blockchain nodes or validators
- Background with on-premise infrastructure in strict security environments
- Knowledge of DNS, BGP, layer 2 networking, enclave computing, or high-performance architectures
