What does a typical day at Albert Bow look like?
“A typical day for me.. so I usually go to the gym in the morning, there is no hope of me going in the evening after work. I would much rather watch Netflix or go out for a beer than go to the gym in the evening. I then try to get into the office early, make my breakfast and set myself up before we kick-off. We do our morning stand-up at 9am every morning where we all present what we are going to be working on for the day, if there is anything we need others to work on it is said here. From there we hit the ground running, calling through candidates, following up on emails from the previous day, and organising interviews.
We all go for lunch together around 12:30 which is actually lovely. We usually go for a walk after lunch along the river or if it’s raining we have pretty intense table tennis competitions in the office. After lunch the afternoon looks pretty similar, calling through anyone you didn’t get through to in the morning, normally I have a few client meetings/training in the afternoon. At 4:45 we have our evening wrap-up where we all tick or x off what we did for the day. We normally question each other quite a bit about why we didn’t deliver on what we wanted to, which always keeps us on our toes and wanting to do our best. Depending on the weather/ how the day went, we (‘I’) could be easily persuaded to go for a beer. “
